| Denver, CO (MySportsbook) - The Colorado Rockies activated right-handed reliever Luis Vizcaino from the 15-day disabled list on Saturday. Hampered with a right shoulder strain, the 33-year-old was placed on the DL on April 4 for the first time in his career. The veteran appeared in just two games, surrendering four runs in just 1 1/3 innings of work. Vizcaino is a year removed from posting an 8-2 mark with a 4.30 earned run average in a career-high 77 relief appearances last season with the New York Yankees. |

In his first game back, Hawpe hit a two-run homer, capping a five-run eighth inning, as Colorado rallied to beat the Milwaukee Brewers, 6-4. DENVER (AP) -The Colorado Rockies activated right fielder Brad Hawpe from the 15-day disabled list before their game with the Milwaukee Brewers on Friday night. Hawpe has been out since May 21 because of a strained right hamstring. To make room for Hawpe, the team optioned center fielder Cory Sullivan to Triple-A Colorado Springs. Sullivan hit .167 in nine games with Colorado. Hawpe has gotten off to a slow start this season, hitting just .231 with three homers and 17 RBIs in 42 games. He went 1-for-11 |

DENVER (AP) -The Colorado Rockies announced left fielder Matt Holliday will begin a rehabilitation assignment with Triple-A Colorado Springs on Thursday. Holliday was placed on the 15-day disabled list May 25 with a strained hamstring. He was batting .321 with eight homers and 26 RBIs at the time.
