In the sixth inning with no outs, Wainwright threw four pitches to Darin Erstad before stepping off the mound in favor of Kyle McClellan. In his five-plus innings of work, Wainwright was charged with two runs on seven hits with a walk and four strikeouts to pick up the win. He will be further evaluated on Sunday.
