for that big-time return for Vincent Jackson. The mercurial San Diego Chargers receiver, who missed the initial portion of the season and often looked on the verge being traded, was prepped to return for last Sunday night's primetime match with the Indianapolis Colts at Lucas Oil Stadium. Instead, he hurt his left leg in practice Friday, then injured his right calf warming up prior to the game. He played two snaps before exiting and did not return. The teams met again eight weeks later that season, with the Patriots taking a 37-16 decision in the Wild Card Round of the AFC Playoffs en route to a Championship Game loss to the Indianapolis Colts. Last year, the Jets rode late-season momentum to their own AFC title game with the Colts, which they lost by a 30-17 margin. Struggling Colts turn attention to fixing problems NFL Football 11/29/2010

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) -The Indianapolis Colts have lost two straight meaningful regular-season games for the first time since October 2008. They have lost three games in November for the first time since 2001, and they will win fewer than 12 games for the first time since 2002.

That's not even the worst part.

Even Peyton Manning is struggling. The four-time league MVP has thrown seven interceptions in two weeks for the first time in his career.

In college, all plays are eligible for video review by replay officials.

In the NFL coaches have two challenges they can use per game, except in the last two minutes of each half when only the officials can determine if a play needs to be reviewed. Dungy would like to see the process taken out of coaches' hands on scoring plays, regardless of when in the game.
