Jags sign LB Alexander NFL Football 09/27/2010
Jacksonville, FL (MySportsbook) - The Jacksonville Jaguars have reportedly signed safety Gerald Alexander and linebacker Eric Alexander on Monday. The Florida Times-Union is reporting the signing of the two. Gerald Alexander is a three-year veteran who was with the team during training camp, but was released at the final cut. Last season with Jacksonville, he had 81 tackles and two interceptions in all 16 games. Eric Alexander had spent his five seasons in the NFL with New England and over 44 games he totaled 48

Cesario was named a first-team All-American at Colorado State in 1998 and was selected in the third round of the ensuing NFL Draft by the Jacksonville Jaguars. "I don't think there are very many people in our football program or in our building that did not know Anthony Cesario," said head coach Steve Fairchild, the Rams' offensive coordinator during Cesario's junior and senior years in 1997-98. ng left tackle Charlie Johnson (foot) all missed practice time during the week. That could play into the Broncos' favor after they halted a five-game losing streak dating back to last year with the win over the Seahawks. Vick firmly in charge for Eagles' trip to face Jags NFL Football 09/24/2010
(MySportsbook) - The Jacksonville Jaguars knew they were going to have to prepare for Michael Vick in their Week 3 contest with the Philadelphia Eagles. However, no one thought it would have to be for an entire game. After parlaying a stellar relief effort into a starting job, Vick will lead the Eagles into EverBank Field this Sunday for an intriguing interconference encounter with a Jaguars team that's likely relishing a return home. Coming off an offseason in which both Jacksonville's owner and head coach said he needs to improve, Garrard tried to silence his skeptics in last weekend's win over the Denver Broncos.
