PITTSBURGH (AP) -Not many NFL players refer to their coach as Dad, yet that is what defensive coordinator Dick LeBeau is called in the Pittsburgh Steelers' locker room. Coach Dad, to be precise. So when the Steelers realized LeBeau's 70th birthday fell on the day of their season opener Sunday in Cleveland, his players decided to do something special. Even more special than those LeBeau throwback uniforms they wore to the Pro Football Hall of Fame last month to lobby for the former Detroit Lions defensive ba |

Washington took the kickoff and drove 58 yards in 10 plays for a field goal to win 16-13. Always outspoken in eight seasons with the Pittsburgh Steelers, Porter made it clear he hasn't changed. ``I've never been in a situation since I've been playing professional football where a game is on the line and I'm watching it from the sideline,'' he said. The plan was to use Porter only in certain pack |

CLEVELAND (AP) -Cleveland Browns punter Dave Zastudil will not play in the team's season opener against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday because of a back injury. Zastudil's back injury limited his participation in practice in the week leading up to the team's regular season debut. He had been listed as questionable by the team Friday. Zastudil, in his second year with the Browns, enjoyed a strong campaign last season, averaging a career-high 44 yards per kick. He played in all 16 games for Cleveland last |
