The Dolphins acquired pick No. 145 overall in the trade, which is pending Ginn passing a physical. The trade comes on the heels of Miami's acquisition of wide receiver Brandon Marshall from Denver on Wednesday. Brooks, 26, had a career year in 2009 for the 49ers with six sacks and five forced fumbles. He also recorded 21 tackles in 14 games. Brooks spent the last two seasons with San Francisco after beginning his career with Cincinnati, which selected him in the third round of the 2006 draft.
