He was due to make $4.3 million this season and was owed $4.6 million for next year. After the buyout, though, he will be eligible to sign for the prorated veteran minimum. While the Boston Celtics, Phoenix Suns, Denver Nuggets and Toronto Raptors all expressed interest in Stoudamire, his agent, Aaron Goodwin, confirmed with the Express-News that his client will ink with the Spurs come Thursday. |
