| Ashburn, VA (MySportsbook) - The Washington Redskins signed standout tight end Chris Cooley to a multi-year contract extension on Saturday. Washington didn't release terms of the contract, but Cooley told the Redskins' web site that the deal was for six years. Drafted in the third round of the 2004 draft, Cooley has 165 career catches for 1,822 yards and 19 touchdowns for Washington. Last season, the Utah State product caught a team-high 57 passes for 734 yards and six touchdowns. |
