Indianapolis, IN (My Sportsbook) - The suddenly-surging
Chicago Bulls attempt to extend their winning streak to four games Friday when they take on the
Indiana Pacers at Conseco Fieldhouse.
Most recently, the Bulls cruised to a 96-83 home victory over the Toronto Raptors on Wednesday. Chicago finished its six-game homestand with a 5-1 record.
Jalen Rose scored 20 points and Donyell Marshall added 17 points and 11 rebounds to lead to Chicago. Marcus Fizer added 15 points and 13 rebounds off the bench for the Bulls, who stopped a 16-game losing streak to Toronto.
Chicago also received 14 points and seven assists from Jay Williams. Tyson Chandler chipped in 10 points and seven rebounds.
The Bulls have dropped 12 straight on the road after a season-opening win in Boston. Chicago is 8-10 against the Eastern Conference, with a 4-8 mark versus the Central Division.
Meanwhile, the Pacers are riding a two-game losing streak after dropping a pair of games in the state of Texas. Indiana fell to the Dallas Mavericks on Tuesday before falling to the Houston Rockets on Wednesday, 95-83.
Jermaine O'Neal scored 27 points with six rebounds for the Pacers, but left the game with a knee injury in the fourth quarter after a collision with teammate Brad Miller.
O'Neal had an examination on Thursday revealed a mild-to-moderate sprain. He is doubtful for Friday night's game.
Ron Artest added 23 for Indiana. Miller had 16 points and 11 rebounds in a losing effort.
Indiana has won four in a row at home and is 11-1 at Conseco this season, with the only loss coming against Detroit. The Pacers are 11-2 against Eastern Conference teams, including a 5-1 mark within the Central.
Friday's game marks the first time the teams have faced each other since Chicago sent Artest, Miller, Ron Mercer and Kevin Ollie to Indiana last February for Rose and Travis Best.
The Pacers have won nine straight meetings with the Bulls and 15 of the last 16. Chicago has dropped eight straight contests at Indiana.
