Hunter agrees to 2-year deal with Tigers

Detroit, MI (My Sportsbook) - The Detroit Tigers and free agent outfielder Torii Hunter have agreed to a two-year contract, according to multiple reports.

The deal is pending a physical and is said to be worth $26 million.

The 16-year veteran batted a career-high .313 with 24 doubles, 16 home runs and 92 RBI through 140 games for the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim last season.

A nine-time Gold Glove winner and four-time All Star, Hunter is a career .277 hitter with 406 doubles, 297 homers and 1,143 RBI over 1,947 games with the Minnesota Twins and Angels.
