Omaha, NE (My Sportsbook) - Doug McDermott poured in a game-high 30 points to lead 16th-ranked Creighton to a 77-61 win over Akron on Sunday.
McDermott also had six rebounds and four assists, while Gregory Echenique chipped in 10 points and seven boards for the Bluejays (9-1), who have won three straight since falling to Boise State on Nov. 28.
