San Antonio, TX (My Sportsbook) - David Ash tossed a go-ahead 36-yard touchdown strike to Marquise Goodwin late in the fourth quarter to give Texas its only lead of the game, and the Longhorns knocked off No. 15 Oregon State, 31-27, in the Alamo Bowl. Ash finished with 241 yards, two scores and one interception on 21-of-33 passing, while Goodwin caught four passes for 68 yards and added a 64-yard touchdown run for the Longhorns (9-4), who ended the season on winning note by snapping a two-game losing streak. Jaxon Shipley caught eight balls for 88 yards and Jonathan Gray hauled in a touchdown pass for Texas, while Alex Okafor had a big game on the defensive end, racking up 4 1/2 sacks. Storm Woods ran for 118 yards and two touchdowns on 21 carries for Oregon State (9-4), while Cody Vaz threw for 194 yards on 15-of-28 passing but was intercepted twice. Terron Ward added 25 rushing yards and a score on six carries for the Beavers, who appeared in their first bowl game since a 44-20 loss to BYU in the Las Vegas Bowl on Dec. 22, 2009.

Final Score: Rice 33, Air Force 14

Fort Worth, TX (My Sportsbook) - Driphus Jackson filled in for an injured Taylor McHargue quite admirably, as the freshman quarterback threw for 264 yards and two touchdowns to lead Rice in a 33-14 victory over Air Force in the Armed Forces Bowl. McHargue went down with a head injury after taking a big hit late in the second quarter, and with an efficient Jackson connecting on 15-of-21 passes, the Owls reeled off 26 unanswered points in the second half to win going away. Jordan Taylor caught three touchdown passes after not catching any all year and finished with nine receptions for 153 yards for the Owls (7-6), who needed to win their final four games in the regular season to become bowl eligible. Connor Dietz and Kale Pearson each spent time under center in Air Force's stagnant offense. Pearson ran for a touchdown, but threw for just 44 yards with an interception on 2-of-8 attempts, while Dietz was 1-for-3 in the air. The Falcons (6-7) were outgained, 503-214, while running for only 166 yards -- roughly half their season average. They lost four of their last five games and ended with a losing record for the first time since 2006.

Final Score: Syracuse 38, West Virginia 14

Bronx, NY (My Sportsbook) - Prince-Tyson Gulley had two touchdowns on the ground and one receiving as Syracuse pounded West Virginia, 38-14, in the New Era Pinstripe Bowl at Yankee Stadium. Gulley finished the game with 215 yards on 26 carries along with five catches for 50 yards, while Ryan Nassib was 12-for-24 for 127 passing yards with two touchdowns and an interception for the Orange (8-5), who won for the second time in this bowl game. Syracuse took a 36-34 win over Kansas State in 2010. Jerome Smith carried the ball 29 times for 158 yards in the win. Geno Smith went 16-for-24 for 187 yards and two touchdowns, but also lost a fumble and was twice hit in the end zone for Syracuse safeties for the Mountaineers (7-6), who lost six of their final eight games of the season.

Final Score: Arizona State 62, Navy 28

San Francisco, CA (My Sportsbook) - Taylor Kelly threw four touchdown passes and ran for another as Arizona State won the Kraft Fight Hunger Bowl with a dominating 62-28 victory over Navy at AT&T Park. Kelly was nearly flawless in directing an Arizona State offense that was nearly unstoppable, with the Sun Devils piling up 648 total yards and scoring touchdowns on each of their first nine possessions. The sophomore quarterback completed 17-of-19 passes for 268 yards, while adding 81 more on the ground on seven attempts to help give Arizona State (8-5) its first bowl victory since 2005. Rashad Ross was on the receiving end of three of Kelly's scoring tosses and amassed a career-high 139 yards on four catches. Running backs Marion Grice and Cameron Marshall each recorded two touchdowns in the rout, with Grice finishing with 159 yards on just 14 carries. Gee Gee Greene and Chris Swain were the lone bright spots on an otherwise dreadful day for Navy (8-5), which had won seven of its last eight games coming in. Greene rushed for 112 yards on 12 totes and returned a kickoff 95 yards for a touchdown in the fourth quarter, with Swain amassing 93 yards and a touchdown on four carries.

Final Score: Michigan State 17, TCU 16

Tempe, AZ (My Sportsbook) - Senior kicker Dan Conroy made a 47-yard field goal with just over a minute remaining to lift the Michigan State Spartans over the TCU Horned Frogs, 17-16, in the Buffalo Wild Wings Bowl. Connor Cook completed 4-of-11 passes for 47 yards and a touchdown for the Spartans (7-6), who improved to 9-14 in bowl games. Andrew Maxwell connected on 6- of-15 passes for 28 yards. Le'Veon Bell carried the ball 32 times for 145 yards and a score for the victors. Trevone Boykin completed 13-of-29 passes for 201 yards and an interception for the Horned Frogs (7-6), who were trying for their third straight win in a bowl game. Josh Boyce hauled in five passes for 91 yards to break Kelly Blackwell's TCU single-season record of 64 receptions. Boyce ended with 66 receptions this season.
