Missouri's Bowers has MCL sprain

Columbia, MO (My Sportsbook) - Missouri senior forward Laurence Bowers will miss at least the next two games with a sprained medial collateral ligament in his right knee.

The injury occurred during the Tigers' win over Alabama on Tuesday.

"Update on Laurence. L-Bo suffered a sprained MCL in his right knee. No damage to the ACL. Will miss Ole Miss & Ga games. Eval again next wk," Missouri head coach Frank Haith said Wednesday on his Twitter account.

Bowers, who missed all of last season with a torn ACL, is averaging a team- high 16.8 points per game.
