Washington, DC (My Sportsbook) - The Colorado Rockies activated outfielder Matt Holliday from the 15-day disabled list prior to Tuesday's 4-0 loss to the Washington Nationals. Holliday, who had been sidelined since June 10 with a fractured right pinkie, went 0-for-4 with two strikeouts. The leftfielder is hitting .285 with four home runs and 23 RBI for the Rockies this season. On a rehab assignment with Double-A Tulsa, Holliday batted .538 (14-for-26) with a homer and six RBI in seven games. In a related move, Colorado optioned outfielder Ryan Spilborghs to Triple-A Colorado Springs.
