Minneapolis, MN (My Sportsbook) - Minnesota Timberwolves forward Wally Szczerbiak has a slight dislocation of his fifth metatarsal on his left foot and is expected to be out for seven to 10 days. Szczerbiak suffered the injury in Tuesday's 88-82 preseason win over Milwaukee. X-rays taken on the foot were negative. Szczerbiak averaged 18.7 points, 4.8 rebounds and 3.1 assists in 82 games last season -- his third in the NBA. Szczerbiak also made his first-ever All- Star appearance last year. The 25-year-old Szczerbiak has averaged 14.9 points, 4.7 rebounds and 3.0 assists in 237 career games. Minnesota originally selected Szczerbiak with the sixth overall pick in the 1999 NBA Draft.
