Tampa, FL (My Sportsbook) - Tampa Bay Lightning defenseman Dan Boyle missed Tuesday's 1-0 win over Detroit with an injured finger. Boyle suffered a crush-type injury to the knuckle of his left forefinger on December 29. The injury normally takes one to three weeks to recover from, but the team has him listed as day-to-day. He was injured near the end of the second period when he took a slap shot off the hand against the Rangers. Boyle said he could barely hold his stick on Saturday against St. Louis. Boyle is sixth among defenseman with 30 points. The Lightning are also without defenseman Jassen Cullimore, who is out three-to-five months with a torn rotator cuff.
