Auburn Hills, MI (My Sportsbook) - The
Detroit Pistons try to extend their winning streak to five games on Saturday when they welcome the
Milwaukee Bucks to the Palace of Auburn Hills.
The Pistons are coming off a 101-99 overtime win over the Hornets in New Orleans on Friday, as Chauncey Billups sank a pair of free throws with just 1.6 seconds to play in OT to lift Detroit.
Billups finished with 32 points and was 6-of-10 from behind the arc as the Pistons erased a 16-point deficit to win their fourth straight road game.
Richard Hamilton netted 22 points for the Pistons, who were without the services of the league's leading rebounder, Ben Wallace, due to a sore ankle. Wallace is questionable for Saturday's game.
Clifford Robinson tallied 21 points and dished out six assists as Detroit won for the 12th time in its last 15 games.
Detroit is 13-3 at home this season and 16-6 against the Eastern Conference, with a 10-2 mark against the Central Division.
The Bucks won for the second time in three games on Friday by topping the Chicago Bulls, 93-85, in overtime.
Anthony Mason scored 21 points and grabbed 13 rebounds and Toni Kukoc scored 19 in his first game off the injured list for Milwaukee. Kukoc had been out since November 30 with a thumb injury.
Tim Thomas posted 13 points and seven boards, Michael Redd chipped in 14 points and Ray Allen added 11 for the Bucks, who rallied from a 70-62 deficit in the fourth quarter.
Milwaukee is 6-12 on the road this season and 12-13 against the Eastern Conference, including a 6-7 record within the Central.
These teams have already met twice this season. The Pistons claimed a 96-91 home win back on November 29 before the Bucks won in Milwaukee, 109-86, just one day later.
Detroit has won three of the last four meetings overall. The Bucks have lost two straight and eight of their last 11 in Auburn Hills.
