=== Barmes, Hawpe re-join Rockies === Denver, CO (My Sportsbook) - The Colorado Rockies will have two previously injured regulars available on Friday, as shortstop Clint Barmes and outfielder Brad Hawpe were both activated from the disabled list prior to the team's weekend series opener against the Los Angeles Dodgers. Barmes was a leading candidate for National League Rookie of the Year honors before breaking his left clavicle in a home accident on June 5. The 26-year- old was immediately placed on the 60-day disabled list and underwent surgery shortly afterward. At the time of the injury, Barmes was batting .329 with eight home runs, 34 RBI and 40 runs scored in 54 games, tops among all NL Rookies in each category at that point. Hawpe has missed 47 straight games after being put on the 15-day DL July 10 due to a strained left hamstring. The second-year rightfielder is batting .295 with eight homers and 39 RBI in 75 contests this season. The Rockies also recalled right-handed pitcher Zach Day from Colorado Springs on Friday. Day, who was acquired in a trade with the Washington Nationals over the All-Star break, made two relief appearances with the Rockies in July before being sent down. For the year he is 1-2 with a 7.05 ERA in 14 games between Washington and Colorado.
