Dallas, TX (My Sportsbook) - Dallas Stars defenseman Richard Matvichuk suffered a broken bone in his left leg during the Stars 6-3 win over Colorado on Saturday. Matvichuk took a shot from Colorado's Derek Morris in the left leg and it cracked his fibula. Matvichuk is expected to miss four-to-six weeks of action with the injury. He is not expected to need surgery on the leg. Matvichuk had seen action in all 46 games this season. He has only registered three assists and has a plus- seven rating on the year. The 10-year pro has scored 36 goals and notched 107 assists in his career. |
