Millar, 31, hit .306 with 16 home runs, 57 RBI and a .509 slugging percentage in 126 games for Florida in 2002. He ended the season with a .378 batting average over his final 50 games, including a career-high 25-game hitting streak from August 24 to September 19. In five seasons with the Marlins, Millar compiled a .296 average with 111 doubles, 59 home runs and 251 RBI.
