Cincinnati, OH (My Sportsbook) - The Cincinnati Reds signed lefthander Jimmy Anderson to a minor league contract Wednesday and invited him to spring training. The 26-year-old Anderson compiled an 8-13 record last season for Pittsburgh with a 5.44 ERA. He made 25 starts and three relief appearances. Anderson was released in December. In four seasons with Pittsburgh, he went 24-42 with a 5.17 ERA. Anderson started 85 games over the last three years. |
