(My Sportsbook) - Conseco Fieldhouse would be an ideal place for an NBA Finals game, just ask any of Indianapolis' residents. The
Indiana Pacers have the look of a team willing to oblige.
The Pacers try for their sixth straight win when they travel to FleetCenter to take on the Boston Celtics Friday night.
Indiana has won nine of its last 11 games and has the best record in the Eastern Conference. The Pacers are coming off a 104-81 victory over the Miami Heat.
Brad Miller finished with 21 points and seven rebounds, while Ron Artest added 18 points to the victory. Jermaine O'Neal scored 13 points and grabbed seven rebounds, while Al Harrington scored 16 boards and grabbed six boards.
The comfortable margin of victory allowed Indy coach Isiah Thomas to empty his bench in the fourth quarter.
"I was very happy to get those guys in the game," Thomas said. "Jamison [Brewer] is one of those guys who's really been working hard behind the scenes and really trying to get his game together. I wanted to put him out there early so I could let him know that I respect what he's doing."
The Pacers are 11-9 on the road and have a 20-5 mark within the Eastern Conference.
Boston snapped a three-game slide with an 86-66 win over the Atlanta Hawks on Wednesday night. Paul Pierce scored 28 points in the victory.
"We knew it was going to be a tough, physical game," Pierce said. "Both teams had long road trips, and we just wanted to get back on track."
Antoine Walker finished with 20 points and seven rebounds.
"We just need to get back to our winning ways," Walker said. "We had a tough road trip so we wanted to get off to a good start."
The Celtics are 13-7 at home and have a 16-11 mark within the Eastern Conference.
This is the first meeting of the season between the two teams.

Boston captured all three meetings last season and leads the all-time series 63-52.
