Toronto, Ontario (My Sportsbook) - Toronto Raptors All-Star swingman Vince Carter will return to the hardwood on Sunday after missing 23 games with a strained right knee. Despite playing in just 10 games this season, "Air Canada" was named a starter for the Eastern Conference All-Star Game. Carter received medical clearance following an evaluation from team doctor Doug Richards on Friday. Carter suffered a partially separated patella tendon in his right knee during practice on December 10. He was expected to return to the lineup two weeks ago, but team doctors held him out. Carter also missed 10 games earlier this season with a quadriceps tendon strain in his left knee. He averaged 19.2 points in his 10 contests this year. The Raptors, who have lost five straight games and are just 10-33 this season, will host the Sacramento Kings on Sunday.
