New Orleans, LA (My Sportsbook) - The New Orleans Hornets signed guard Robert Pack for the remainder of the season, the team announced on Thursday. Starting point guard Baron Davis underwent knee surgery on Tuesday, and is expected to miss six weeks of action. Pack, a native of New Orleans, has played nine games with the Hornets, averaging 8.0 points and 4.7 assists, including 18 points and 11 assists in the team's 104-83 victory over Toronto on Wednesday night. The 33-year-old Pack was originally signed to a 10-day contract on January 10, then to a second 10-day pact on January 20. He has averaged 9.5 points, 4.9 assists and 2.1 rebounds in 507 career games with New Orleans, Portland, Denver, Washington, New Jersey, Dallas and Minnesota.
