Los Angeles, CA (My Sportsbook) - The Los Angeles Dodgers signed reliever Giovanni Carrara to a one-year contract on Monday and avoided salary arbitration. Financial terms were not released although Carrara had asked for $880,000, while the Dodgers were offering $725,000. Carrara went 6-3 with a 3.28 ERA in 63 games last season. The six-year veteran has a lifetime mark of 15-11 with a 5.15 ERA in 151 career games with Toronto, Cincinnati, Colorado and Los Angeles. |
