Naslund, who has points in 10 of his last 11 games (5g, 9a), leads the NHL with 36 goals and is just three points back of Mario Lemieux's league-leading 73 points.
Vancouver, which is unbeaten in its last three home games, will begin a brief two-game homestand this evening. For the first time all season the Northwest Division-leading Canucks are having to look in their rear-view mirror for the perennial champion Colorado Avalanche, who have narrowed the margin to six points in the division.
Chicago, meanwhile, comes into Monday's affair on a winning note after blanking the Edmonton Oilers on Saturday.
Jocelyn Thibault recorded 29 saves for his NHL-leading seventh shutout of the season, as the Blackhawks blanked the Oilers, 3-0, in the sixth installment of a seven-game road trip that closes tonight.
Steve Thomas, Tyler Arnason and Sergei Berezin each scored for Chicago, which improved to 2-6-2 in its last 10 games. Thibault stopped eight shots in the first period, nine in the second and turned aside 12 in the third for his 34th career shutout.
Thomas, who is one goal away from 400 for his career, ended the longest goal- scoring drought of his career with the tally. After scoring the 398th goal of his career in the fourth game of the season, Thomas went 51 games before nailing 399.
Chicago, which sits in ninth place in the Western Conference playoff race, two points back of the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim, will head home for a pair of games following tonight's game. The Blackhawks are 2-5-2-2 in their last 11 games on opposition ice and are 9-13-6-2 on the road on the year.
The Canucks, who have taken two-of-three from the Blackhawks this season, are 3-1-1 in the last five meetings and have won two straight from Chicago in Vancouver.
