Miami, FL (My Sportsbook) - An arrest warrant has been issued for former major leaguer Jose Canseco for a probation violation stemming from a nightclub brawl. A judge issued the warrant after being told Canseco had failed to meet several of the conditions of his probation. Canseco and his brother allegedly beat up two men in a brawl at the Opium Gardens nightclub in Miami Beach on October 31, 2001. Canseco agreed to the probation terms when he pleaded guilty in November to felony aggravated battery and two counts of misdemeanor battery. His brother, who played briefly in the majors, pleaded guilty to felony battery and misdemeanor battery and also agreed to probation. Canseco hit 462 home runs, was a six-time All-Star and won the 1988 American League MVP. He ended his career with a .266 batting average and 1,407 RBIs with 200 stolen bases in 1,887 games with Oakland, Texas, Boston, Toronto, Tampa Bay, the New York Yankees and the Chicago White Sox. In his final season in 2001, Jose Canseco hit .258 with 16 homers and 49 RBI for the White Sox.
