Washington, DC (My Sportsbook) - Monday afternoon's NBA contest between the Washington Wizards and the Toronto Raptors has been postponed due to severe weather conditions in the Washington, DC vicinity. The game has been rescheduled for Tuesday, March 4. The postponement denied Washington's Michael Jordan a chance to play on his 40th birthday. The Raptors played Sunday afternoon at home, earning a 99-97 win over Orlando, and went directly to the airport. The NBA announced the postponement soon after. Heavy snow in the mid-Atlantic states forced many road and airport closures. The Baltimore-Washington International and Reagan National airports in the Washington, DC area were closed Sunday, while Dulles International Airport had just one runway open during the afternoon.
