East Rutherford, NJ (My Sportsbook) - New Jersey Devils defenseman Colin White is expected to be sidelined for at least a week after suffering a sprained right knee during Wednesday's game against Ottawa. White was hurt in the second period of the 5-3 loss while trying to check Ottawa's Mike Fisher. The defenseman's knee was bent backward and he crawled off the ice in pain. Tests on Thursday revealed only a sprain and no ligament damage. White has five goals and seven assists in 59 games this season. His plus-17 rating is tied for second-best on the team.
