Seattle, WA (My Sportsbook) - There will be no postseason implications tonight when the Atlanta Hawks travel to KeyArena to take on the Seattle SuperSonics. Atlanta has dropped two straight and three of its last four games, most recently an 89-86 loss to the Portland Trail Blazers. Glenn Robinson scored 24 points and Shareef Abdur-Rahim added 15 points and 11 rebounds to the setback. "We put ourselves in a position to win," Robinson said. "So we've just got to learn how to convert those." The Hawks are 5-24 on the road and have an 8-14 mark against teams from the Western Conference. Seattle has lost seven of its last 10 games but is coming off an 86-79 victory over the Detroit Pistons. Ray Allen finished with 23 points and eight assists in the victory, while Rashard Lewis chipped in with 22 points and eight boards. "The guy can play," Seattle coach Nate McMillan said of the newly-acquired Allen. "He's fun to watch. He does a lot of things on the floor. It's hard to read where he will be and what he will do because he can do so many things." The Sonics are five games behind the eighth and final playoff berth in the Western Conference and have a 13-12 mark in their own gym. Seattle is 12-14 against Eastern Conference foes. In the first meeting between the teams on November 26, Robinson scored a season-high 37 points in Atlanta's 119-116 overtime win at home. Seattle has won four of the last six meetings.
