Fort Myers, FL (My Sportsbook) - Minnesota Twins pitcher Eric Milton will undergo surgery on his left knee next week, the team announced Friday. Twins manager Ron Gardenhire doesn't know how long Milton will be inactive. "I'm really upset right now," Gardenhire said. "But it'll be a relief down the road because I know were gonna get this kid fixed and we're not going to deal with his knee swelling every time he pitches." Milton, 27, underwent surgery on the same knee last season to repair a lateral meniscus tear in the knee, then was on the disabled list from August 7 to September 2. Last year the lefthander went 13-9 with a 4.84 earned run average in 29 starts.
