Toronto, Ontario (My Sportsbook) - Ottawa Senators forward Chris Neil and defenseman Karel Rachunek each were fined $1,000 on Wednesday for their involvement in a scuffle during Tuesday's 4-1 win over the Maple Leafs. The altercation took place 7:30 into the third period in front of the Ottawa bench. Toronto forward Darcy Tucker skated to the Senators bench and cross-checked Neil before throwing punches at the Ottawa right wing, who was on the bench. While the melee was going on, Maple Leafs coach Pat Quinn banged a stick on the top of the pane of glass at the end of Toronto's bench. Objects and taunts were also tossed between the benches. Fine money goes to the Players' Emergency Assistance Fund.
