Atlanta, GA (My Sportsbook) - The Atlanta Falcons acquired veteran offensive tackle Wayne Gandy in exchange for safety Bryan Scott and a 2007 undisclosed late-round draft choice. The deal is pending physicals. Gandy, a first-round draft choice by the Los Angeles Rams in 1994, has played in 191 games, starting 184 contests, and has missed just one contest during his 12-year career. He spent time with the Rams and Pittsburgh Steelers before signing with the Saints in 2003. Scott has started 35 of 47 games during his three-year career with the Falcons. He was selected by Atlanta in the second round of the 2003 NFL Draft. Scott has 228 tackles, 3 1/2 sacks, four forced fumbles and four interceptions. |
