Orlando, FL (My Sportsbook) - The Utah Jazz resume their five-game road trip on Wednesday when they travel to Orlando to square off with the Magic at TD Waterhouse Centre.

Utah is 1-1 so far on its swing and has lost four of its last six on the road overall. The Jazz are 14-17 away from home this season and 14-10 against the Eastern Conference.

Most recently, the Jazz posted an 83-73 victory over the Heat in Miami on Monday.

Karl Malone had 29 points and 13 rebounds to lead the Jazz to the win. Malone moved into seventh place all-time on the career rebounding list, passing Nate Thurmond at 14,464 with a rebound in the second quarter.

Matt Harpring added 17 points and John Stockton chipped in with 14 for the Jazz, who snapped a two-game losing streak. Calbert Cheaney also contributed 10 points in the win for Utah.

The Jazz currently hold the sixth position in the Western Conference, as the LA Lakers lost in Chicago Tuesday to drop one-half game behind Utah.

The Magic lost for the second time in three games on Tuesday by suffering a 106-105 defeat to the Wizards in Washington.

Tracy McGrady poured in 43 points for Orlando, which lost for only the third time in its last 11 contests. Gordan Giricek added 14 points for the Magic.

Drew Gooden ended with 12 points and seven boards, and Pat Garrity added 10 points for the Magic, who lost despite shooting 53 percent from the field, including 11-of-20 from three-point range.

Washington used a 7-3 run late in the fourth to take a 98-94 advantage. The Magic were able to cut the deficit to 100-99 on Gooden's dunk with 18.8 seconds remaining, but Jerry Stackhouse sank four straight free throws to put the game out of reach.

Orlando remained the seventh seed in the Eastern Conference, one-half game ahead of the Milwaukee Bucks and 1 1/2 ahead of Washington.

The Magic have won six of their last seven home games and are 20-12 in their building this season. Orlando is 10-12 against the Western Conference.

This is the final meeting between the Jazz and Magic this season. These teams met back on December 18 in Utah, with the Magic claiming a 97-90 victory. Orlando has not swept the season series with the Jazz since the 1993-94 campaign.

Orlando has won the last meetings overall after dropping the previous four. The Jazz have won three of their last five in Orlando.
