Cleveland, OH (My Sportsbook) - Cleveland Cavaliers guard Dajuan Wagner is scheduled to undergo an arthroscopic procedure for a torn meniscus of his right knee, the team announced Sunday. The procedure will be performed by Cavaliers team physician Dr. Richard Parker. Wagner will likely miss the remainder of the season. Wagner is currently third on the team in scoring, averaging 13.4 points per game, a mark which also puts him in a tie for third among the league's rookies. The 20 year-old also is tied for third among NBA rookies in assists per game with 2.8. Wagner was the first-round selection, sixth overall, of the Cavaliers in the 2002 NBA draft. The Camden, New Jersey, product entertained thoughts of entering the NBA straight out of high school. He ended up, however, spending one season at the University of Memphis, where he was lured by head coach John Calipari.
