=== Chiefs re-sign four players === Kansas City, MO (My Sportsbook) - The Kansas City Chiefs agreed to one- year contracts on Friday with tackle Jordan Black, defensive end Jimmy Wilkerson, cornerback Benny Sapp and kicker Lawrence Tynes. Originally a fifth-round draft pick of Kansas City in 2003, Black started 10 of the Chiefs' 16 games last season, with six starts at left tackle and four at right. In three years with Kansas City, Wilkerson has recorded 69 tackles in 43 games, with two starts. Sapp has recorded 60 tackles and an interception in his first two seasons with the Chiefs. Tynes has played in 32 games with Kansas City since joining the team as a free agent in 2004. He has converted 44 of 56 field goals and 102 of 105 PATs for 234 points. The Chiefs also released wide receivers Kyle Brown, Travis La Tendresse and Ryan Waller and tackle Derek Morris. |
