Mesa, AZ (My Sportsbook) - The Milwaukee Brewers acquired outfielder Jason Conti from the Tampa Bay Devil Rays in exchange for catcher Javier Valentin.

The 28-year-old Conti is out of minor league options and will serve as a utility outfielder for the Brewers. Milwaukee's outfield contains three injury prone players in Brady Clark, Geoff Jenkins and Jeffrey Hammonds. Clark and Jenkins are both nursing minor injuries and Milwaukee needed to add some outfield insurance.
