Tucson, AZ (My Sportsbook) - The Chicago White Sox placed pitcher Dan Wright on the 15-day disabled list Thursday because of inflammation in his right elbow. The move is retroactive to March 25. The 25-year-old Wright, who made 33 starts with the White Sox a season ago, is just 0-1 with a 16.88 ERA in three appearances -- including two starts -- this spring. In his most recent appearance, he threw two innings of scoreless relief on March 24, allowing just one hit while striking out two against Colorado. In 2002, the right-handed Wright went 14-12 with a 5.18 ERA and 136 strikeouts in 33 starts. In two major league seasons, both with Chicago, Wright has a combined 19-15 record with a 5.31 ERA in 46 appearances.
