Philadelphia, PA (My Sportsbook) - The Philadelphia Eagles signed guard Shawn Andrews to a seven-year contract extension on Monday. A former first-round draft choice in 2004, Andrews broke his right ankle in his first NFL game but the bulky lineman bounced back to start all 16 games last season at right guard and was named an alternate for the NFC Pro Bowl squad. The 6-foot-4, 340-pound Andrews still had four years remaining on his original six-year contract and is now locked up through the 2015 season.
