Stuttgart, Germany (My Sportsbook) - Striker Fernando Torres scored twice in the second half to secure Spain a 3-1 win over Group H opponent Tunisia and a spot in the Round of 16. The Atletico Madrid forward found the back of the net in the 76th and 90th minutes to earn the European nation a second-round berth. The win also extended Spain head coach Luis Aragones' unbeaten streak to 24 games. Despite its loss, Tunisia was the first to open the scoreboard in Stuttgart. Nuremberg midfielder Joahar Mnari knocked the ball past Spain goalkeeper Iker Casillas in the eighth minute to give the African nation the shocking lead. Spain was not able to grab the equalizer until the 75th minute when Tunisia goalkeeper Ali Boumnijel made a costly mistake. Boumnijel denied midfielder Cesc Fabregas, but parried his shot into the path of Raul, who finished the job. It was the Real Madrid striker's first goal since October 19, 2005 when he scored against Rosenberg in the Champions League. Five minutes later, Spain stole the lead as Torres rounded Boumnijel and fired into an empty net. Torres then provided the Spaniards with a two-goal cushion as he rifled in a penalty kick after being brought down in the box. With the victory, Spain sits atop Group H with six points. Aragones' squad meets Saudi Arabia Friday in Kaiserslautern in its final group match. Tunisia, who records only one point, faces the Ukraine in Berlin that same day.
