Tempe, AZ (My Sportsbook) - The Arizona Cardinals released center Mike Gruttadauria on Wednesday. The 30-year-old Gruttadauria had played the last three seasons for the Cardinals, including 31 starts. In 2002, he was reduced to just eight games due to chronic knee and back injuries. After being originally signed by the Dallas Cowboys as an undrafted free agent in 1995, Gruttadauria then signed with St. Louis. He started 19 games for the Super Bowl Champion Rams during the 1999 season. The 6-3, 280-pounder from Central Florida signed a four-year contract with the Cards in February of 2000. His release comes prior to the final year of the deal.
