St. Petersburg, FL (My Sportsbook) - The Tampa Bay Devil Rays placed pitcher Jim Parque on the 15-day disabled list Wednesday with tendinitis in his left shoulder. During Tuesday's victory over the Baltimore Orioles, Parque yielded six runs and five hits in just 1 2/3 innings. The southpaw has allowed 13 runs and 12 hits over 6 2/3 innings -- two starts -- this season. After going 1-4 with a 9.95 ERA in eight games with the Chicago White Sox last season, Parque signed with Baltimore as a free agent in January. He underwent shoulder surgery in 2001. In a related move, the club selected righthander Al Levine from Triple-A Durham.
