Auburn Hills, MI (My Sportsbook) - The Detroit Pistons may have lost forward Don Reid for the season with a torn right Achilles' tendon. Reid was injured in Sunday's 85-80 overtime preseason win over the Heat. Reid, who was injured in the second quarter, will undergo surgery today. The Pistons acquired the 28-year-old Reid along with Mengke Bateer and a future first-round draft pick on October 1 from the Denver Nuggets for forward Rodney White. Reid, a Georgetown product, will be entering his eighth season in the NBA and his second stint with the Pistons. He has also played with Orlando and Washington. Over his career, he has averaged 3.6 points and 2.9 rebounds in 402 games.
