PHILADELPHIA (AP) -Fourth-round draft pick Jason Avant signed a four-year deal with the Philadelphia Eagles on Thursday. The 6-foot, 212-pound receiver caught 82 passes for 1,007 yards and eight touchdowns for Michigan last year while serving as team captain. He was also named team MVP last season. Avant, 23, had a streak of 33 games in which he caught a pass. He finished his Wolverines career with 169 catches for 2,247 yards and 13 touchdowns.
