Nashville, TN (My Sportsbook) - Tennessee Titans cornerback Samari Rolle was fined $7,500 by the NFL on Monday in response to his helmet-to-helmet hit on Jacksonville quarterback Mark Brunell on October 13. Brunell suffered a concussion on the play, but no penalty was called. The nine-year veteran was able to play just one more series in the game before leaving with a headache. The Titans won the game, 23-14. The six-foot, 175-pound Rolle was a second-round draft pick of the Titans in 1998 out of Florida State. He earned All-Pro and Pro Bowl honors following the 2000 season when he had a career-high seven interceptions. He has 14 career interceptions since becoming a starter in 1999. In six games this season, Rolle has accumulated 20 overall tackles, 17 of which are solo, for the 2-4 Titans. Brunell returned to action on Sunday, completing 24-of-46 passes for 231 yards while throwing three interceptions and no touchdowns in a 17-10 loss to the Baltimore Ravens.
