New York, NY (My Sportsbook) - Chicago Cubs outfielder Sammy Sosa and Colorado pitcher Shawn Chacon have been named the National League Co- Players of the Week for April 14-20. Sosa led the league with four home runs, 14 RBI, runs scored (10) and total bases (25). He compiled a 1.042 slugging percentage and a .548 on-base percentage during the week for the Cubs. His home run on April 20, the 504th of his career, tied him with Eddie Murray for 17th place on the all-time list. Chacon, 3-0 with an 0.98 earned run average this season, became the first Rockies pitcher to earn the award. In two starts covering 14 innings, he didn't allow an earned run. He walked four, struck out eight and limiting batters to a .163 average. Other players nominated for the award were Los Angeles' Dave Roberts, Chicago's Hee Seop Choi, Cincinnati's Sean Casey, New York's Tom Glavine, San Francisco's Damian Moss, Philadelphia's Vicente Padilla, Colorado's Aaron Cook and Arizona's Curt Schilling.
