Anaheim, CA (My Sportsbook) - New York Yankees first baseman Jason Giambi was scratched from Thursday's lineup against the Anaheim Angels due to a bruised middle finger on his left hand. Giambi suffered the injury during the seventh inning of Wednesday's 9-2 rout of the defending champion Angels. Giambi was drilled by a Scott Schoeneweis pitch. He has been hit four times this year after being hit 15 times in 2002. The lefty slugger is batting .200 with four home runs and 13 RBI this season for the high-flying Yankees (17-3).
