Denver, CO (My Sportsbook) - Michael Jordan made his preseason debut Monday and finished with eight points in 15 minutes in the Washington Wizards' 96-73 win over the Denver Nuggets. The 39-year-old Jordan had said in training camp that he would probably sit out the entire exhibition season so he could rest his right knee, which he had surgery on in late February. Jordan entered the game with 7:13 left in the second quarter and played the rest of the period. He finished shooting 3-of-8 from the field. The Nuggets had promised fans a regular-season ticket if Jordan didn't play in the preseason affair at the Pepsi Center. The Nuggets also offered the Wizards a $200,000 incentive if Jordan suited up Monday night. Jordan is also expected to play in Washington's final two preseason contests. The five-time MVP averaged 22.9 points, 5.7 rebounds and 5.2 assists in 60 games last season -- his first year with Washington.
