Pittsburgh, PA (My Sportsbook) - The Los Angeles Dodgers placed right-handed reliever Paul Shuey on the 15-day disabled list with a sprained right knee. Shuey was 2-1 with a 0.68 ERA in 10 games this season. He has allowed just one run and five hits in 13 1/3 innings. Shuey last pitched during Thursday's 3-2 loss in 11 innings against the Cincinnati Reds. He pitched two scoreless innings and only surrendered one hit. The Dodgers recalled infielder Jason Romano from Triple-A Las Vegas in place of Shuey. Romano stole seven bases after being sent to Las Vegas early in the season. |
