(My Sportsbook) - The New York Mets attempt to extend their winning streak to four games on Saturday when they send Tom Glavine to the mound to face the Arizona Diamondbacks in the second of a three-game set at Shea Stadium. The Mets have won six of their last eight games overall and are coming off a 4-3 win over the Diamondbacks in the series opener on Friday. Raul Gonzalez snapped a tie with an RBI double in the bottom of the seventh as the Mets rallied to beat Arizona. Mike Piazza, who sat out Thursday's game against Houston with a sore groin, went 3-for-4 with a run scored for the Mets. Mets closer Armando Benitez nailed down his eighth save of the season and Mike Stanton (1-2) earned the victory in relief of starter Steve Trachsel. Stanton struck out one and walked one in two scoreless innings of work. The Mets send Glavine to the hill Saturday. Glavine is 3-1 on the year with a 3.14 ERA five starts. The lefthander has won his last three decisions, with his only loss coming on Opening Day against Chicago. In his most recent outing, Glavine earned the win against Florida Sunday, allowing three runs on eight hits over seven innings. He walked two and struck out one. Glavine has had success in his career against Arizona, posting a 7-2 record and a stellar 2.41 ERA over 10 starts.
